Welcome to Ca' Rosa, our warm and inviting home in the mountains above Lake Como. This spacious stone house dates back to the 17th century, with original stonework and Lombard terracotta floors that give it a unique, timeless character.

Breathe in the mountain air and take in the lake views from the terrace, the hot tub, or right from the bedroom window. Set off directly from the house on countless hiking and mountain-biking trails, or spend the day on the water swimming, kiteboarding, or simply relaxing on the shore.

In the evening, gather in our fully equipped kitchen and taverna to cook, share a meal, and unwind with the mountains and lake as your backdrop.

Peglio is a picturesque village on Lake Como, perched at 900 metres above sea level with sweeping views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It's a popular base for hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor pursuits, with narrow streets, historic buildings, and the Chiesa di Sant'Eusebio at its heart. For everyday shopping there's a small alimentari in the village, with larger supermarkets (Iperal and Crai) in Gravedona, just 5 km away.

Gravedona is worth a visit for its shops, the Palazzo Gaio, and the Spiaggia Gravedona and Spiaggia Domaso beaches. The picturesque mountain villages of Livo and Naro are within walking distance.

The surrounding area offers hiking and mountain-bike routes such as Crotto Dangri, Alpe Motta, Livo, Rosso del Livo, and the agriturismi La Fonte Mariella and Zertin — plus a recommended hike toward Gravedona and Domaso past the church of Sant'Eusebio. Families will find the Lake Como Adventure Park climbing garden and local horse farms nearby, and Abbazia di Piona, Menaggio, Bellagio and Como all make easy day trips.
